"Multichannel Direct" is not high end sound...is it? - denon ps3 hdmi no audio

I have the Denon AVR-1908 receiver and everything is ready ... but I have my PS3 connected via HDMI cable, but when the menu appears to the receiver audio input, indicating that the entry "Multi Ch Direct" and a PCM signal "fs" of 48Hz .

I do not believe that these values are the ideals we are? If Dolby Digital 5.1 or DTS, LPCM, and should signal more Hz?

My choice for the PS3 audio is Linear PCM and Bitstream, I was able to put in Linear PCM ...
