DVD writer (omega DVDRW4224E2Q) wont work? - iomega dvd writer

Please can someone help me, I could never work with my PC, I can come in contact, but it is only a single CD-ROM when the reality of a writer CD / DVD.

I tried to upgrade to the latest firmware and drivers, but still considered a normal CD player. In the hardware on the PC, says the DVD, but the driver that Windows handles the selection is a CD-ROM is usually the case. I looked but could not find the driver so that you can change it all, what I found was to update the firmware, not working.

The model is DVDRW4224E2Q Iomega
This is a DVD-Super Series

Can someone enlighten us?
